** This is a new position. We need an electrical estimator with construction company or large electrical contractor experience on substation and utility projects. Not all industrial projects, must have some of the utility. Alternative energy type projects like wind turbines or similar is a plus.

Electrical Utility Construction Estimator - Chicago Vicinity NorthCompany wants to hire an Electrical Utility Construction Estimator experienced in power, utilities and utility work
Company works to build and strengthen America's infrastructure. As a specialty contractor and subcontractor, they design and build major projects across the United States.

Prepare accurate bids for utility projects involving distribution, transmission lines, and substations.
Ensure compliance with general and special conditions of bids including, insurance requirements, minority quotas (both contractor and work force) as well as compliance with applicable codes.
Work closely with administration and marketing to prepare bid submissions.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
We need to have a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
Five or more years of estimating experience required preferably in a construction company.
Experience in distribution, transmission and substation estimating for utility projects
