POSITION SUMMARY
Coordinates activities, concerns and scheduling issues associated with the production and scheduling for the company and its products. Schedule the production of base, detector and module products. Analysis reports for product availability to design schedules.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
SCHEDULING
. Calculates monthly safety stock, sales order and production
schedule.
. Determines quantity requirements for month considering projected
inventory levels.
. Reviews open sales order report for manufacturing ship date
accuracy.
. Generates the master schedule for detectors, bases and modules per
workweek.
. Creates the report to show open work orders.
. Updates and maintains work in progress per scheduled workweek.
. Adjusts work orders and status reports per amendments and
product/part shortages.
. Reschedules incomplete work orders.
SCHEDULING
. Provides administrative support for supervisor, including filing,
typing, photocopying, faxing, and other typical office activities.
. Organizes, maintains, and updates department files and records.
. Generates production reports for manager.
. Prints and delivers reports.
. Conducts research and organizes information for special projects
designated to supervisor.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
. Ensures the assembly techniques and processing by employees conform
to ISO work standards and procedures.
. Updates Great Plains information.
. Coordinates new projects for new projects.
. Recommends methods to improve efficiency and organization of area.
Participates in the Quality Control circles.
. Performs duties as requested by the supervisors and SOM.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
. Associate of Arts (AA) degree in engineering technology or
equivalent.

EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
. At least two years working in a manufacturing or engineering
environment.
. Ability to make sound and quick decisions.
. Ability to learn quickly and follow written, diagrammed, or oral
instructions.
. Proficient with numbers, scale readings, and calculations.
. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
. Capable of working as part of a team and dealing with various types
of personalities.
. Capable of using basic office equipment such as adding machines,
calculators, copy and fax machines, and printers.
. Able to operate a personal computer and corresponding word
processing and chart/graphs software.
. Proficient at reading and understanding blueprints.
. Must be well organized and be attentive to detail.
. Must be able to deal with standardized situations with only
occasional variables.
