** This is a new position.  We need someone with solid mining or aggregates background and sales and located east of the Mississippi River.

Location                  Handles East of the Mississippi River and can live anywhere in that half of the country.


Company is a design, engineering and fabricating firm specializing in “Wear Control Technology”– the development and manufacturing of improved methods and/or engineered solutions for eliminating metal wear problems within a multitude of industries. 

Due to extreme growth they are aggressively looking for an Experienced Technical Product Manager to add to their expanding outside sales force covering east of the Mississippi.

This candidate must possess mining and/or aggregate experience to support the sales efforts for wear control in processing, loading, and transporting within the underground and surface mining sectors.  
 
Requirements:
§    3-5 yrs+ sales experience.
§    Maintenance, and/or Plant Operations background.
§    Persistent self-starter with strong initiative.
§    Able to build long term relationships, and develop new business opportunities.
§    A successful candidate will be energetic, an effective educator, communicator, and one who is able to excel in a team approach sales environment.
§    Will be a technical support arm of the selling efforts of their sales personnel.

Essential Functions:
§    Interface directly with industrial and maintenance plant personnel to identify business opportunities and develop solutions to customer’s concerns and problems with existing services and equipment.
§    Present wear materials and engineered solutions based on value rather than price.
§    Must have computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet, e-mail, etc.)
§    Position requires some overnight travel to support sales activity throughout a multi-state region.
